Maria Rita Testa

Maria Rita Testa is research scientist at the Wittgenstein Centre (IIASA, VID/ÖAW, WU), Vienna Institute of Demography of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Her research interests include family demography, fertility, reproductive decision-making, event history models and multilevel models. She earned her degree in Political Science from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, Italy. In 2000, she received her PhD in Demography from the University of Florence, Italy. From 1999 to 2001 she was Assistant Professor at the University of Milan Bicocca, Italy. Since 2001 she has been working at the Vienna Institute of Demography in the research group of Comparative European Demography.
