Zack W. Almquist

Zack W. Almquist is a Doctoral Candidate in Sociology at the University of California, Irvine. His research interests lie at the intersection of demography and social network analysis; his work focuses on such topics as the spread of disease over sexual contact networks and the impact of network structure on immigration patterns. He earned a BS in Mathematics from the University of Oregon, an MS in Statistics from Northwestern University, and an MA in Demography and Sociology from the University of California, Irvine. He is currently a member of the NCASD lab and a graduate fellow of the Center for Networks and Relational Analysis at UCI. He is expected to graduate in June 2013.
