Tom Wilson

Tom Wilson is a demographer in the Queensland Centre for Population Research at The University of Queensland. His principal research interests include demographic projections, migration analysis, household demography, Indigenous demography, and regional and local population change in Australia. He works closely with Australian State Governments to understand and forecast State demographic change for planning and policy purposes. He was awarded his PhD from Leeds University in 2001 for his work on subnational population projection methods.
