Lauren Bachan

Lauren Bachan is a PhD candidate in Sociology and Demography at Pennsylvania State University. Her work lies at the nexus of family demography and development. Specific research interests include family formation, processes, and structure; fertility; and reproductive health. Lauren has also engaged in a number of projects related to survey methodology and statistical analysis. She earned a BA in International Relations from Mount Holyoke College (2002) and an MA in Sociology and Demography from Penn State (2012).
