Ordering a bound Print Version

Although viewing the online version of Demographic Research and downloading the PDFs is the easiest way to read our publications, a bound paper version of each volume is also available.

The paper version contains all of the text and figures found in the PDFs online, but it does not provide supplemental material from links of data files. Journal content is printed in black and white and the book is a soft-bound paperback.

Copies of these paper versions are distributed to large depository libraries and to various institutes dealing with population sciences one year or longer after online publication. Readers can also obtain copies through a print on demand service on an at-cost basis. They can be ordered directly through www.libri.de (enter the words "demographic research" in the search fields) or by ordering a copy at local bookstores.

The first four Volumes of the journal are published in three books, listed under the ISSN 1435-9871, and the reader must specify which Volume is to be ordered (Volumes 1/2 are in one book, Volumes 3 and 4 each occupy their own book.)

From Vol. 5 onwards each print version has also been assigned a ISBN number to facilitate ordering from online shops, such as Amazon or Libri, or in bookstores. Print versions available thus far (October 2008) are:
