The data and SAS programs in this folder provide the code required to reproduce the figures in the article
This folder contains the following census data, SAS and Excel files to replicate the figures for this article:
They are listed in following order:

1. Figure 1
	Excel file plotting the TFR from vital statistics(http://kosis.kr) and TFR computed by the own-children method (women ages 15-49).
	The 10% sample of Korean census is accessible with permission from Statistics Korea and is only available at the site. 
2. FERT.AAA
	This computer software developed by the East-West Center calculates the own-children estimates from the census. 
        One needs to change the extension AAA to EXE for it to work in DOS. 

3. 2% sample of 2000 census
	I use the 2% sample of 2000 Korean census to compare its own-children estimates to vital statistics. 
        The data only contain columns relevant to calculate the own-children method.

5. 2% sample of 2005 census
	I use the 2% sample of 2005 Korean census to compare its own-children estimates to vital statistics.
        The data only contain columns relevant to calculate the own-children method.

7. Figure 2
	Excel file plotting the TFR by educational level 
	This file also contains TFR calculated by birth histories generated for each educational level by the own-children method.

8. Figure 2(SAS code)
	SAS program to create data for each educatonal level from the 10% sample of 2010 Korean census.

9. Figure 3
	Excel file plotting % of foreign-born and native-born women by education and age using the 10% sample of 2010 Korean census.
