Seongsoo Choi is a sociologist who studies social stratification and mobility, family demography, the sociology of education and quantitative research methods. His research projects include various social consequences of the large scale college expansion in South Korea and how marriage and family size mediate the intergenerational transmission of advantages. His recent work appeared in Social Forces, Sociological Science and Social Science Research.
