Ragui Assaad
Ragui Assaad is Professor of Planning and Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs. He is a Research Fellow of the Economic Research Forum in Cairo, Egypt and serves as a member of its Board of Trustees. He is also a Research Fellow of the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA) in Bonn. His current research focuses on labor markets and human development in the Arab World, with a focus on youth and gender issues as they relate to education, transition from school-to-work, employment and unemployment, informality, migration, and family formation.
