Dolores Sesma Carlos

Dolores Sesma Carlos is a PhD candidate in History at the Graduate School for Humanities, Radboud University, the Netherlands. In her dissertation, she investigates the impact of long-term migrant trajectories and other life course events on return migrations and mortality later in life in 20th century Netherlands. She received her B.Sc. in Sociology from the Public University of Navarre, and her MPH in Public Health from the University of Zaragoza, Spain. Sesma Carlos was appointed as early stage researcher at the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network “LONGPOP(Methodologies and Data mining techniques for the analysis of Big Data based on Longitudinal Population and Epidemiological Registers)” within the Horizon 2020 Programme of the European Commission. Her research interests include health in old-age; long-term analyses of health and socio-spatial inequalities; migration and employment trajectories; life course research; and longitudinal research methods.
