Michael Grimm
Michael Grimm is Professor of Development Economics at the University of Passau. He is also affiliated with IZA Bonn, the RWI Research Network and the DIW in Berlin. He holds an MA in Economics from Frankfurt University and an MA in Population Economics and PhD in Development Economics both from Sciences-Po Paris. He is a member of the Executive Board of the European Development Research Network (EUDN) and currently the chairman of the Research Group on Development Economics of the German Economic Association (VfS). His research covers problems related to education, health, informal labour markets, agriculture, and fertility in a developing country context. He has published in journals such as the Journal of Development Economics, the World Bank Economic Review, Health Economics, Demography, the Journal of Economic Geography and the American Journal of Agricultural Economics.
