Anastasia Kostaki

Anastasia Kostaki is Associate Professor of Statistics and Demography at Department of Statistics, Athens University of Economics and Business. Her research interests are mainly focused in developing methodology for describing and projecting demographic phenomena. She studied in Sweden, at Lunds University, achieving a BA in Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science, a MSc in Statistics and a Phd in Statistics – Demography. From 1985-1990, she taught various courses of Statistics at Department of Statistics, Lund University. Then since 1992 she teaches Statistics and Demography at Department of Statistics, Athens University of Economics and Business. She is scientific coordinator of the postgraduate program “Statistics in Medicine”.
