Almut Schumann
Almut Schumann is a researcher at the German Federal Institute for Population Research (BiB), and works for the German Family Demography Panel Study FReDA and the international Generations and Gender Programme (GGP). She holds a Master's degree in sociology and empirical social research from the University of Cologne and is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Mannheim. Her research interests lie at the intersection of research on families and intimate relationships and survey methodology. In particular, she is focusing on how new methodological changes and challenges in data collection affect data quality and outcomes of survey data.
