I am an assistant professor of Sociology at Kookmin University. Before joining Kookmin Unviersity, I was a Frank H.T. Rhodes postdoctoral fellow of Cornell Population Center at Cornell University. I completed my Ph.D. in Sociology at University of California – Los Angeles. My areas of expertise include demography, social stratification, and quantitative methods. My research focuses on how educational differentials in demographic behaviors contribute to the reproduction of social inequality. My works have been published to peer-reviewed journals such as Social Science Research, Demographic Research, Population Research and Policy Review, and The History of the Family.
