Li Ma

Li Ma received her PhD in Sociological Demography from Stockholm University. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Demographic Research, Université catholique de Louvain, Belgium (co-funded by the Marie Curie Actions). Her research focuses on social policy and family dynamics in East Asian societies and Europe (Sweden in particular). Her studies cover union formation, union dissolution, fertility, women’s post-birth labor force participation, work–life balance, fathers' uptake of parental leave, and parents’ sex preferences for children.
