Paul Mathews

I did my undergraduate, masters and PhD training at the London School of Economics and Political Science. My research has broadly been on evolutionary approaches to human behaviour, in particular the role of family networks and mortality for explaining variance in fertility and attitudes towards childbearing. However, my current post also has a strong element of survey methodology. I am a member of the UK Government Statistical Service.
