Judith Treas

Judith Treas is Professor of Sociology and Director of the Center for Demographic and Social Analysis at the University of California, Irvine. Her research—often from a cross-national perspective—considers how men and women organize their relationships. She has written about couples’ division of housework, bank accounts, sexual fidelity, domestic outsourcing, the amount of time spent with family members, and household management.
