James Curtsinger

James Curtsinger received undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Chicago and Stanford University respectively, and is currently professor at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, in the Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior. His primary academic interests are in genetics, evolutionary biology, and aging. As of 2013 his collaborations with Dr. Aziz Khazaeli have led to 30 joint publications using the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster to investigate genetic and demographic aspects of the biology of aging.
