Mariana Amorim
Mariana Amorim is a PhD student in Policy Analysis and Management at Cornell University. Her major research interests include family relationships, intergenerational transfers of resources, and the role of stressful events and family transitions in affecting the well-being of children and older adults. She has coauthored papers published in Social Problems and the Journal of Urban Health, and she is currently conducting a qualitative research project on mature blended families. Before coming to Cornell to pursue her PhD, Amorim received a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Oregon State University.
