Unless otherwise states in the paper, all analyses are based on Polish birth registers covering all births between 1985 and 2010. 
As I am not allowed to distribute the raw data, the excel file contains only numbers used for producing all figures in the paper.
All calculations have been made in STATA 12 using the ‘tabulate’ command. Because of the code’s simplicity it does not seem useful to provide.
