Some information on the data files and computercode files accompanying the article “The timing of family commitments in the early work career: Work-family trajectories of young adults in Flanders” by Suzana Koelet, Helga A.G. de Valk, Ignace Glorieux, Ilse Laurijssen and Didier Willaert. These files should allow the replicability of the analyses in the article. Some of the information in the files, including the variable labels, are written in Dutch. For more information, do not hesitate to contact the authors of this article. Do also not use these data in any other context than for the replicability of the results. For replication of the sequence analysis, optimal matching analysis and cluster analysis (see Figures 1-7 and Table 2 in the article), use: - Sekwfile (DR).sav: SPSS-datafile with all individual sequences for the 1598 young respondents born in 1976 who participated in the Flemish SONAR survey, were interviewed at age 23, 26 and 29 and for whom complete information is available - OMA(DR).R: computer code file for R, containing also the labels for the states listed in the above datafile. For replication of the multinomial logistic regressions in the article (see Tables 3-5), use: - Timing of family commitments (DR).sav: SPSS-datafile with cluster memberships and all data needed to construct the independent variables in the multinomial logistic regressions, including labels - Timing of family commitments (DR).sps: SPSS-syntaxfile for the construction of the independent variables and the multinomial logistic regression Thank you, Suzana Koelet 16/02/2015
