Help with syntax (for STATA). Article: R๖zer, J.J., Poortman, R. and Mollenhorst, G. The timing of parenthood and its effect on social contact and support

There are 5 syntax files. They refer to the separate steps that are undertaken, and have to be run in the respective order. 
syntax 1 – persons:	select and create person variables. 
syntax 2 – households: select and create household variables. 
syntax 3 – grid and age children: variable from grid. 
syntax 4 – master: combine data. 
syntax 5 – analyses: analyses. 

All data can be downloaded from the FORS website, after signing up (http://forscenter.ch/en/our-surveys/swiss-household-panel/datasupport/).
The following data are used: 
1. person data: shpXX_p_user.dta -> same name on the website under "W1 to W17 stata". XX indicates the year of the survey. 
2. household data: hpXX_h_user.dta -> same name on the website under "W1 to W17 stata". XX indicates the year of the survey. 
3. grid data: SHP_MP.dta ->  same name on the website under "unique data"
