The zipped file PartialReplicabilityMaterials_hgp2018.zip contains the following files,
used for the analyses presented in Grol-Prokopczyk, Hanna. (2018). Celebrity Culture and Demographic Change: The Case of Celebrity Nonmarital Fertility, 1974-2014. Demographic Research.


* Excel files showing initial codings of People magazine covers from 5 select years:
1974, 1984, 1994, 2004, 2014.  

* A Stata data file (PeopleCoverData_YearsEndingIn4.dta) showing the above Excel data converted into Stata format.

* Two Stata .do files.  The first, CelebFyAnalysis.do, prepares all necessary variables, 
generates most descriptive statistics, and does all other analyses.  The second, DistinctPBAMomsThenDadsEtc.do, generates descriptive statistics/analyses for a "distinct"
version of the data, i.e., a version in which there is only one entry per birth (as 
opposed to one entry per People cover story).

All analyses were done with Stata/MP 15.1.
