** The analysis presented here is based on the first 19 waves of The Household Income and Labour Dynamics in Australia (HILDA) survey. The data extract used in this analysis is freely available to registered users at https://dataverse.ada.edu.au/dataverse/hilda. 
Once all files have been downloaded and merged, the analysis can be replicated using STATA version 13.0 or higher. This zip file includes a do file, 'Internal Migration and the De-standardization of the Life Course.do,' that contains the code to re-produce the analysis in STATA.
