The .zip archive for this manuscript includes the following .dta and .do files necessary to produce tables for Cotton et al. 2022. 'One Hand Does Not Bring Up A Child:' Child Fostering Among Single Mothers in Nairobi Slums.

1. Stata data file, KST Wave 2 data (2016)

This file contains data from the Kinship Support Tree project. These data were collected in Korogocho, Nairobi, Kenya as part of a longitudinal study collecting kinship data from single mothers and their focal child in 2015 (Wave 1) and again in 2016 (Wave 2). 
The dataset includes observations of 741 children aged 0-15, their mothers, and information about each mother's kinship networks from Wave 2 (2016). 
The dataset is restricted to the variables used to produce the descriptive characteristics of the sample and the analytic models.
