The Script.do was developed in Stata 14. It needs the following files to run:
1. Homicide public information from Vital Statistics for the reference and backward projection years. The missing values were prorated based on the proportions of the valid values, which is why the number of homicides includes decimals.

6. Todas las familias en quinquenios.dta: all model life tables using 5m5 for 2017
7. retro-dane: backward projection from DANE
8. retro-norte: backward projection of the model table North
