Workflow:
1. Obtain the full restricted VARHS 2008–2016 data from UNU-WIDER (see data_access_and_variables.txt for instructions).
2. Get familiar with the processed datasets 
3. Run the Python scripts to reproduce all the table in the manuscript


Software:
Python 3.11+ with pandas, numpy, statsmodels (exact versions in requirements.txt)

All scripts are heavily commented and include logging statements that reference specific tables and sections of the manuscript.
