Peter Fallesen

Peter Fallesen received his PhD in Sociology in2015 from University of Copenhagen. He is a research professor at the ROCKWOOL Foundation and a senior researcher at Stockholm University. His work revolves around the interlink between family processes and inequality at both the individual and population levels. Ongoing research projects examine access to and usage of medically assisted reproduction, comparative estimates of child welfare populations, and prevalence and transmission of poverty. Recent work has appeared in Demography, Population and Development Review, Journal of Marriage and Family, and the European Journal of Public Health.
