Fausat Ibrahim

Fausat Ibrahim obtained her doctoral degree in Medical Sociology and a master degree in Public Health from Nigeria’s University of Ibadan. One of her main research interests the exploration of the nexus between population and environment. She is a 2015 alumnus of the Brown International Advanced Research Institute (BIARI), Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs, Brown University, USA. She is a staunch humanist and an Africanist who has advanced emic African perspectives in many of her writings. She is a Senior Lecturer at the Federal College of Forestry, Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria, Ibadan, Nigeria. E-mail: fausatibrahim@gmail.com.
