The main focus of my research is demographic issues such as fertility, childlessness, minority fertility and the prevalence of ethnically mixed couples. The longitudinal Cohort '18 Growing Up in Hungary survey has been used to study the situation of young pregnant women, the relationship between maternal age and time to pregnancy, and structural and health inequalities related to pregnancy and childbirth. It has also been used to study the complexity of childhood families and their relationship to early childhood development.
