Zafer Buyukkececi

Zafer Büyükkeçeci is a research scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research, currently working on the BIOSFER project in which he examines the social and biological determinants of fertility and their interplay. He completed a PhD in sociology at the Humboldt University of Berlin. His research interests include family sociology, demography, social stratification and inequality, and life-course research.
