Francesco Rampazzo
Francesco is a Lecturer in Social Statistics and Demography at the University of Manchester. He was previously a Lecturer in Demography at the University of Oxford and a Career Development Fellow in Marketing and Consumer Demography at Saïd Business School. He holds a PhD in Social Statistics and Demography from the University of Southampton and has been affiliated with the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research, Nuffield College, and the Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science.
His research focuses on digital and computational demography, with applications in fertility, migration, and survey research. He actively collaborates with industry partners, including MammaPack, Getty Images, Cosmic Latte, and Nielsen BookData. His work has appeared in leading academic journals and has been widely featured in the media.
