Ryota Mugiyama

Ryota Mugiyama is an associate professor at the Department of Political Studies, Gakushuin University, Japan. He received his doctoral degree in sociology from the University of Tokyo. His research interests include labor market inequality, family demography, and social mobility, with a focus on Japan. His work has been published in European Sociological Review, Social Science Research, and Research in Social Stratification and Mobility, among other outlets.
