Krisztina Kopcsó

Krisztina is a research fellow at the HCSO Institute for Quantitative Population and Economic Research, Hungarian Demographic Research Institute. She was previously an assistant professor at Pázmány Péter Catholic University and a lecturer at the University of Pécs. She holds a PhD in Psychology from the Developmental and Clinical Psychology Doctoral Programme at the University of Pécs. She is an associate editor and a member of the international editorial board of the European Journal of Mental Health, and a qualified person-centred counsellor.
Since 2017, she has been working on the Cohort ’18 Growing Up in Hungary research project, a nationally representative, multidisciplinary birth cohort study. Her work involves fieldwork planning, questionnaire development, data analysis, and the dissemination of research findings. Her recent research focuses on socioeconomic inequalities in child development and socio-emotional well-being, with a particular interest in early childhood parenting practices and screen exposure.
