Nguyễn Hồ Anh Khoa is a lecturer in the School of Economics at Can Tho University, Vietnam. His research focuses on demographic economics and household behavior, with a strong emphasis on fertility decisions, intergenerational support, and the impacts of population aging in developing countries. He is particularly interested in how family structures and socioeconomic factors shape reproductive choices and in exploring policy options that promote sustainable fertility while supporting multigenerational households in Vietnam and similar contexts. This article reflects his ongoing interest in the demographic transition and the evolving role of extended families in low-fertility societies.
