Chiara Ludovica Comolli
Chiara Ludovica Comolli is Assistant Professor at the Paolo Fortunati Department of Statistics of the University of Bologna. Previously she was a Senior Researcher at the Demography Unit of the University of Stockholm (SUDA) and at the Institute of Social Sciences (ISS) of the University of Lausanne. In 2016 she obtained a PhD in Political and Social Sciences at the European University Institute (EUI) with a thesis entitled "Fertility in Time of Economic Crisis. The Great Recession effects on childbearing in the United States".
Her main research interest concerns fertility in developed countries, in particular regarding the link between reproductive choices and economic uncertainty and the dynamics of the labor market and gender. Her other research interests are more generally concerned with family dynamics, economic inequality, and how family and work trajectories jointly influence the multiple dimensions of wellbeing.
