Afua Durowaa-Boateng

Afua Durowaa Boateng is a PhD student in Demography at the University of Vienna and a Research Assistant at the Vienna Institute of Demography, Austrian Academy of Sciences. Her research focuses on fertility and family dynamics in sub-Saharan Africa, with particular interest in how education and other social factors shape demographic outcomes. She uses large-scale survey data and statistical methods to study fertility patterns, aiming to provide insights that contribute to a better understanding of population change in high-fertility contexts.
