Ariane Ophir

Ariane Ophir is a Juan de la Cierva postdoctoral fellow at the Centre d'Estudis Demogràfics (CED-CERCA) in Barcelona, Spain. Her work bridges family, gender, and life course theories to address questions about the interplay between population dynamics and gender inequality in outcomes related to union formation as well as unpaid work. Her recent work appeared in Demography and the Journal of Marriage and Family. Ariane received her PhD from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
