Joan García Román
Joan García Román is PhD in Demography from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and researcher at the Centre for Demographic Studies, currently as a Ramón y Cajal fellow. His research career has been linked to CED where he participated in projects funded by different institutions and organisms as national and international. Between July 2013 and November 2016, he worked as a research associate at the Minnesota Population Center at the University of Minnesota in the IPUMS Time Use project. During 2017, he got a Juan de la Cierva Incorporación fellow and in 2018-19 the Beatriu de Pinós fellow from AGAUR. He has worked in a wide range of topics in the field of demography and has specialized in the analysis of time use data. His research has been published in the most important journals in the field of demography such as Demography, Population and Development Review or, Demographic Research.
