Thomas Leoni is currently Head of the Business Faculty at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt (Austria). Prior to this, he worked for over 15 years as Senior Economist at the Austrian Institute of Economic Research. His research interests include social inequalities, welfare state change and labor market outcomes, especially in an international comparative perspective. He holds master level degrees from the University of Bologna and the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, and a doctoral degree from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, where he also received his venia docendi in socio-economics.
