Andreas Klärner
Andreas Klärner is senior researcher at the Thünen Institute of Rural Studies in Braunschweig, Germany. He is a sociologist and teaches at the Universities of Hamburg and Rostock. Much of his research focuses on social network influences on private lifestyles with an emphasis on fertility decisions, marriage, and cohabitation. He is currently working on demographic change, living conditions, and poverty in rural areas. He is specialized in qualitative and mixed-methods research methods and social network analysis.
