B. Piedad Urdinola
Economist with a Ph.D. in Demography from the University of California, Berkeley. Codirector of the Latin American Human Mortality Database (www.lamortalidad.org) interested in demographic topics in Latin America: adolescent fertility, fiscal impacts of aging, demography of conflict, and gender issues. She has been the recipient of several competitive research grants and has been awarded as a Tinker visiting scholar at Stanford University and Santo Domingo visiting scholar at Harvard University.
