Alessandro Rosina

Alessandro Rosina is currently Full Professor at the Faculty of Economics at the Catholic University in Milan, where he teaches Demography, Population Dynamics, Social statistics. He is the head of the “Center for Applied Statistics in Business and Economics”. He coordinates the Italian national survey “Rapporto Giovani” promoted by the Toniolo Institute for Higher Studies (since 2012). He has been member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Statistical Society (2011-2014) and served as an expert on several Italian government committees. His main areas of interest are on transition to adulthood and intergenerational relations, welfare regimes and demographic behavior, family formation and fertility decision making, life-course transitions and social vulnerability.
